[Mod-Post:] Sorry for the neglect, Change of rules!

The neglect of this past round, and the change of rules is made necessary due to changes in my real life. Sadly I have to accept that I as one person have only so many hours in the day.
So without further ado, here is what will be happening starting now, tough please feel free to post your things as the last round is still going on until the 31. January!

• This shall remain to be a self-posting community being focused on all sorts of angst. And of course open for all pairings that the HP-Fandom has to offer (including if you want to CC-content and Fantastic Beast-content)



• There still will be a prompting month comes February.
  I will collect the prompts, and add them to the list, once the list as they come.
  But here are some questions I have for you:

  Still no matter how this poll will do: All prompts will always stay open to be taken up, if the fancy strikes you and to be posted here whenever you have finished your story!
  



• Change Nr.1
  There will be monthly prompts: 1 picture and 1 word/phrase to be taken up and mixed up with all the other monthly challenges out there.



• Change Nr.2
  Because I really am no good at keeping up with stuff, and because I don't know half of it: Feel free to promote your fest/com/event here whenever it is happening .

Just want to clarify my answer here: I said "no" to the fest format, because I like how easy this current format is. You can write something or not, which is much better than committing to write something and then feeling guilty when you have to drop it. :)

I would definitely prefer the fest format - I need a kick in the butt sometimes to actually get writing, and this comm is AMAZING because I'm a huge sucker for angst, haha - maybe you could leave the prompt-format open and self-posting and just host an additional "traditional" fest once or twice per year? That way it would combine both formats!

I'm happy to read that you like angst so much- i do too!
And I shall think about it, for certain I still want to maintain the low stress profile, but I understand where you come from, when you say you need deadlines.

Low stress is always good - that's what I love about this community tbh, you don't get freaked out over absolutely HAVING to submit something, and you don#t feel bad should you fail (even though I still did, because I really wanted to post in the first round, haha). But I'd still be excited about one annual challenge maybe, i.e. the fest that I mentioned... It could still be somewhat low-stress with no penalties when not submitting, etc. So basically that you still have a deadline that gets you going but won't tear your hair out over it, in case that makes sense?

But tbh I'm pretty sure that no matter what you come up with, it'll be awesome! I really need to move and get started with participating in this comm because I think I already mentioned that I'm quite fond of it already :D

Ok, what I can tell you- if i go for a fest like thing, I have to think of my schedule and it would be like writing from April till July and i would allow 15 persons max to participate.
There would be no punishment if people let me _know_ the dropped it, simply disappearing would be no sign-up the next round.
And then people who are part of it would get a badge or something from me.
