[Mod-post:] SOA 1. Prompting Rround Statistics and Poll

A month and 3 days ago the 1. Round of Prompting for this community closed down and the CLAIMING and POSTING is open (until June) for you if you find the time and an appealing prompt.
To give you a overview of what you can expect from this rounds prompts lets go and take a look at the numbers:

Please note I controlled all my numbers 3 times, but still there might be mistakes- if you find one please let me know i can still fix it.


Note: Every prompt that was open for either any and all types of "MRS", "Era" or "Character" is counted for all those Types - like there were prompts with x/ y or z that this would lead to a one count for x, one count for y, and one count for z.

• The type of MRS:
  
  
  I'm very happy about the awesome number of 77! prompts. I never would have believed anything this high. My highest hopes were for around 50. I also want to thank llaeyro for her absolute stunning support and leaven prompts after prompts! Thank you so much for helping making this launch go more smoothly!




• Prompts in accordance to the Era they were posted in:
  
  
  I was surprised that each era made it to over 10 prompts! That is really cool, and I want to thank you all for that!




• Reoccurring Parings:
  Note: the same paring had to be prompted at least twice to make it on this list, so this list is only a small overview and not even close to mention all the parings available.
  
  
  I was not so much surprised with the number one, but the number two was rather out of nowhere for me. Interesting and cool.




• A list of all the characters you get to choose from in this first round:
  
  
  I was utterly shocked when I saw that Harry Potter beat Draco Malfoy. I really would have bet it would be the other way around, but now we are all still very much attached to the hero, apparently (no judgement there, he is a cool guy).

So do these numbers surprise you? Did you expect it to turn out this way? I would very much like to hear your thoughts.

Info: Did you know: if you have an idea to a prompt here and write a story, but do NOT wish to have it known that it is your story, you can totally sent your story via mail to me, and I shall post it as mod here, and do an anonymous sign-up for you. That is totally an option. Just let me know if you want to take it up.

OOOH pretty stats! It's strange to see slash as the most popular when het seems to dominate a lot of fests, but that's probably in no small part due to my high number of prompts xD I'm not surprised that Harry then Draco were most popular, or that the most popular het pairing involved Hermione. I was surprised with how few Snarry and Al/Scorpius prompts there were. Al/James would have surprised me if it wasn't for the fact that Melodic and I between us left the majority of prompts, hehe!

I was prepared for the slash- but then I don't know a lot of other fests, as I am only now slowly expanding my ships.
And congrats for not being surprised by Harry, Draco and Hermione- through really that Hermione/Harry pairing came out of nowhere for me (is there a shorting for the two of them too?)
Yes, the lack of Snarry was unexpected for me is well, but how does it go with the low years and the high years.
And go to the both of you! all the promts - and there will be some thank you for you, i just don't know yet which form it will take or when it will hit me ;) but you can look forward to it - fair warning, if one of my ideas wins out it will be ridiculous XD

I've never heard of a nickname for Harry/Hermione as a pair. Hermarry? Harrione? Hermotter? xD! You don't see a lot of it any more, whereas once upon a time it was one of the most popular het pairings. It seems to be all about Dramione these days! There weren't really that many well developed female characters in canon to play with, so Hermione and Ginny pretty much dominated het fics.

And ooooh how exciting!!

LOL to your nicknames for those two- they are very entertaining and looking rather nice
thanks for the info too- i really had no clue about them being so popular
